Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about Brekzy's tools, guides, resources, and how your information is handled.

General

What is Brekzy?

Brekzy is a collection of free online tools, calculators, and converters, alongside guides and reference resources, all in one place.

Are Brekzy tools free?

Yes. Every tool, guide, and resource on Brekzy is free to use, with no hidden limits.

Do I need an account?

No. Every tool works without signing up or logging in.

Can I use Brekzy on my phone?

Yes. Brekzy is designed to work comfortably on phones and tablets as well as desktop browsers.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Every tool runs directly in your web browser -- there's nothing to download or install.

Tools

What types of tools are available?

Calculators, unit converters, text tools, generators, and developer tools -- see the Tools directory for the full, current list.

How do I find a tool?

Browse by category from the Tools directory, or use the search box in the header to search by name.

Can I suggest a new tool?

Yes -- use the Contact page to send a suggestion.

What should I do if a tool gives an unexpected result?

Double-check the input values and any unit or mode settings first, since most unexpected results trace back to that. If it still looks wrong, use the Contact page to report it -- include what you entered and what you expected, so it's easy to reproduce.

Privacy

Does Brekzy store the information I enter into tools?

Generally, no. Most Brekzy tools process what you enter directly in your browser and never send it to a server, so there's nothing to store. Behavior can vary by tool -- check an individual tool's own page if you want specifics for that one.

Are Brekzy tools processed in my browser?

Many of them, yes -- calculations and conversions typically happen entirely client-side. This isn't true of literally every tool on the site, since some tasks genuinely need server-side processing, so this is a general pattern rather than an absolute rule for every single tool.

Does Brekzy collect personal information?

Using a tool doesn't require providing any personal information. The Contact form is the exception -- it collects what you choose to submit (name, email, and your message) in order to respond to you.

How is contact-form information handled?

Information submitted through the Contact form is used only to respond to your message.

Guides & Resources

What are Brekzy Guides?

Plain-language, step-by-step explanations of calculations, conversions, and common tasks -- often paired with the specific Brekzy tool that can do the work for you.

What are Brekzy Resources?

Quick-reference material: conversion charts, cheat sheets, formula references, and similar tables you can scan quickly without reading a full explanation.

Can I suggest a topic for a guide?

Yes -- use the Contact page and let us know what you'd find useful.
